Wineries in the area are true family affairs. While some growers produce grapes for Margaret River wineries, there’s more than enough high-quality grapes to supply a surprisingly large number of local makers, with fertile soil and cooler climate allowing vines to thrive. Pemberton has become synonymous with cool climate wines of extraordinary quality and is particularly renowned for its pinot noir, chardonnay, merlot, sauvignon blanc and shiraz.
The following is a list of wineries in and around the Pemberton region.
